Wow....so much Drama.....

SS Z28 or whatever ur username is....i wasnt trying to talk ...i was asking u questions..

Mainly cuz..

A) U mentioned owning a 2000 Camaro with an LT1 thats supercharged...BUT they stopped putting LT1's in F-Body's in 1997....1998 Was the first model year introduction of the LS1...and the 98-02 V8 F-Body's ALL came with LS1's....YES u could get both in 6-speed, and both being borg warner T-56 units, they are DIFFERENT units...who the HELL blows up an LS1, and than drops in an LT1?? Its not even remotely an economical, cost effective, or GOOD option...

B) U mentioned racing a viper, and listening to the Carb, but at the same tiem u mentioned throwing her into 5th and 6th gear...and passing him....?? 86 Z28's (American or NOT) NEVER came with a 6-speed...but u just said its americana nd a rare 4-speed manual.....ok, well the ONLY 4 speed manual offered in the 3rd gen (1982 - 1992) ANYWHERE was the Super T-10 (AMAZING tranny), but that was only in 1982...

So...tell me why this amazing professional engine builder swapped out a near 400hp motor for a near 300hp motor???

and how is it that ur carb sounded nice as u shifted into 5th and 6th blowing by a viper in ur car than is really only a 4speed manual from the states..? (im nto doubtign theres a 4-speed manual in there, its fairly easy to put a muncie or a ST-10 in there, but it DIDNT come stock from the factory unless its a 1982...

Don't test me on my F-Body knowledge....

On my way home from work and was cruisin the fast lane doing about 120km. i got up behind this car and had to slow to 90km he didn't move like everyone else so i stayed on his *** thinking "you dumbass slower traffic to the right". he wasn't moving untill he hit the gas and started to pull on me. when i noticed him pulling on me i downed it to 3 to squeeze out whatever revs i had left. once i was midway thru 4th i already switched lanes and he only had a 1/4 car length on me and i was coming up to another car fast. i had 2 choices slow down and let him go or take the paved shoulder on the right. so i took the shoulder, by the time i got back on to the lane i was far enough infront thati could get in his lane so thats why i did then i hit the 4ways and shutdown to make sure he got a good look at the back of my car. my exit came up very soon after that so i said "c-ya i had my fun"

Well here is one for the books! I had a 91 MX6 5 speed, no turbo 4 banger in crappy shape and this yutz pulls up with his 87 Mustang 5.0 and wants to go light to light. I looked at him and politely asked him if he was f@#king crazy. he says c'mon give er a whirl! So I did. I knew the light and how long between amber, red and green. I shot out of the hole and did 3 perfect shifts at 5500 rpm and he went sideways. I killed him and he couldnt believe it. Just looked at my crappy 2.2 and shook his head. Imports... there is no substitute....

yesterday comming from richmond hill i see dis daddy's lil rich boy in a modded teg here i am drivn my best friends 1996 Benz 500SEL lol bullet proof windows he got it at an auction for about...26,500 its worth abt 45 im guessing....well teg was modified no doubt lowerd kit and engine mods after the race we found out what he had done... ure standard intake header and ECU....also exaust...so were crusing abt buck 40 (140km/h) and this lil tart comes up behind me tail gating me in the MIDDLE lane at 140 me now im thinking that either hes extremly illiterate or jus plain DUMB...so yea i decide to let him go so i switch to the left to let him pass cuase apprently he didnt know abt the left lane pass....but surprisingly as i changd lanes he comes up side by side what do i see prolly dis kid look 17 as if he just got a g2 and and addy bot him a car and gave him money to modify it....so i look at my friend im like look he has a 1.8 4cyl w/ small mods nun to big...we have a 5.0L V8 what to do???? do he look at us gives up the thumbs up so on his 3 horn couts we started at rollling 140km/h start...not a pretty sigh he apprently prolly hurt his 4th gear cuz u can tell whe u pullda gear w/ clutching makes that gring sound... and he did so we decided not to go and give him a chance now him comes w/ a ricer fly by....so for the 1st time i floor it in that car all i felt was sheer thrill iono why sounds weird eya but for sum reason da way i poerd threw past 160 was unbelivable we ended up touching abt 240 and i looked back all i saw was he was about 4 to 4 and ahalf acr lengths apart so we decided to stop and he come side by side looking horror struck funniest part was he was crying lol...well that was my 2 cents

I think it would be reasonable for me to call slight BS here.. even if the guy had a shitty launch, he'd have to have been doing a burnout to lose to you.. and even then, a 5L walking a burnout is probably faster than your car would be off the line.

Ok im just wondering....3 perfect shifts = 4 gears (1st-1-2, 2nd-2-3, 3rd-3-4)...so you went for some distance...so are you telling us a 5.0L Stang couldn't pull on your "no turbo 4 banger in crappy shape" mazda??...maybe it was a 4 cylinder Stang you were racing?

Maybe when you say 3 perfect shifts you meant 3 perfect gears...but even so, the stang should have still caught you

Gentlemen, I swear on my daughter's name, I got to the lights first, and he did try. the engine note from the Mustang was unmistakable. So what do I tell you, I was dreaming? I dont think so. It was a perfect hookup from the line and a bit of 2nd gear chirp and all go from there.I think I was 4th gear before I realized what was going on. I cant explain it any more than that, whatever Gods were out that night, they looked on me favourably and pushed me along? Perhaps, but one thing is for sure, I do look at 4 cylinder engines with respect from that day on.

I dont know the exact year but it was a Yellow Corvette ZO6 it was on the 401 went from a 100 kph roll on to about 190 i was about 7-9 car lenghts ahead of him/her. I was driving my S13
