hi i have a winter beater its a 1991 mazda mx6 gt(2.2l turbo) ne ways i just got it onto the road thus meaning insured it but when aim driving and start to slow down it shuts off...soemtimes it over rev's and the rpms go to to 8000 soemtimes further but the motor does not actully over rev it just shows that it does..then when i begin to stop the car would just shut off and i would have to start it up again....its allmost like it stalls but its automatic...do you guys know what it could be...i have filled her up with fuel injector cleaner with octne booster....plz help me

Electrical problems, are the kille for those cars. I had 626 with the same engine (2.2 Turbo) and that sucker would start sometimes. and stalls constantly. We got the new car so we just throw that one to the scrap yeard.

yah eh i did sooo much body work on that piece of and i mean i dont wanna just throw it away and i dont wanna put a new motor in ..............fuken mx6 lol ne ways yah thanks for your help if anyone can help plz do so :thumbsup
