mazda rx-7, 323/protege /familia, mx-3, mx-5/ miata

my mazda mx6 transmition problems

my mazda mx6 transmition problems
yah i have had a few problems with mah transmition and i just got back frum mister transmition and he says mah whole tranny is gone becuase when id rive it only uses 1st and 2nd gear it skips the rest cuz they grinded out? ne ways he says he can swap a new tranny if i provide one for around 350-400$ do you guys think is a fair price and does anyone know where i can get a 1991 mazda mx6 gt(2.2l turbo) tranny for cheap...ill look around junk yards and but very disapointed in this car

350-400 CDN is very reasonable for a TRANSMISSION replacement.

Im not on top of these scrap yard prices, but I would anticipate about 400-500 for a good unit....maybe more.
