drove one about 10 years ago.? don't want to get a very old one, but not new one and also dont' know what to get for beginners somesay a 600 other a 450. would also prefer a sport bike.

Before even buying a bike I would enroll yourself in a 2 week saftey class, anyone who hasn't ridden in 10 years should be practicing on a mo-ped for a bit. Once you have done that go with a 450

First, take the motorcycle safety course. You can find details usually at any motorcycle dealer. Next, how much money do you want to spend? That will decide what you buy. Sit on them. Make sure it fits your size.That your legs aren't cramped. Start shopping around and see what is out there. that is half the fun of it!
