i painted a guys roadking tins -- he had taken the bike apart, and droped it off to me. he left the fual guage in ang said not to mess with it, as it was easy to break and hard to get out.. just by wet sanding around it, there was moisture trapped under the lens for a couple months!hope this helps good luck man
