Yea definitely agree with you. People need to stop coming here and reverting to the same old ways of their countries.

Just on a whole side note about immigrants year they are great for are economy but is they who must assimilate to our cultures way. They choose to come here so they have to change to come here. They knew when they come here they would become minorities.

This is a little thing I got from my friend a little while back.

should 'fit in,' or 'go home.'

Richmond Liberal MP, Raymond Chan, is set to file an official complaint with the CRTC (Cdn Radio Television Commission) about Allen's recent 'reality check' alleging the piece was discriminatory. Chan is also demanding an official apology and a retraction of the comments.

It's time we all get behind Bruce Allen, and scrap this Political Correctness business. His comments were anything but racist, but there are far too many overly-sensitive 'New Canadians' that are trying to change everything we hold dear.

For example, our National Anthem: Don't know what your opinions are, but I certainly agree. --- I am sorry, but after hearing they want to sing the National Anthem in Hindi - enough is enough. No where or at no other time in our nation's history, did they sing it in Italian, Japanese, Polish, Irish (Celtic), German, Portuguese, Greek, or any other language because of immigration. It was written in English, and should be sung word for word the way it was written. The news broadcasts even gave the translation -- not even close.

I am not sorry if this offends anyone, this is MY COUNTRY - IF IT IS YOUR COUNTRY SPEAK UP ---- please pass this along.... I am not against immigration .. just come through like everyone else... Get a sponsor; have a place to lay your head; have a job; pay your taxes; live by the rules ...AND... LEARN THE LANGUAGE

agreed...less angry but general point is there, i will respect their culture but as for laws, i say no exceptions, also national anthom is ours. ment for english and french...that is all it should be at any special event.
canada is a free country,yes, but dont abuse it or a simple shoplift (not that i agree with shoplifting just a example) will be disciplined with a chopped off hand..is that worth a chocolate bar? no..and then bam...disibility benifits for life and big lawsuit.

Lets face it. Its all our money and not just his. We all pay into our health insurance plans. If he wants to not wear a helmet then he can contact his bike insurance and see if they can raise his coverage to include where they will cover all hospital costs without our taxes paying for it.
We don't argue that he can't ride a motorcycle without a helmet. He can do what ever his country allows him to do that. But not in Canada.
I'm sure if he provided an insurance policy at the proceedings that he was covered without going through OHIP or provincal health insurance then he would of had a good case.
Now charging him $5,000 dollars/year for no helmet or $1,000 with a helmet for insurance might suit the rest of us that wear helmets providing we don't have to pay for him during any hospital stay. Heck you can't even take a motorcycle course wearing saddles, so why should he be allowed not to wear a helmet for any belief. Its really not a matter of safety, or religion or beliefs. It is always about money in the long run.
Isn't this a better way to put it, than argue about religion, beliefs and customs.

I think its the attitudes of certain cultures in general. They think their culture is better than everyone elses. I know I sometimes get looked down upon when I walk into one of their stores, or even at work they will try to make it like I should get out of the way for them. Now this is not all, but there is a good percentage that treat people differently.

I say drop the egos and be proud to be Canadian.
