I'm trying to locate an aftermarket product for a special-needs driver who...

...requires a specal gear shift? She is focused upon acquiring a Honda Odyssey but she has trouble with the gear shift. She wants an automatic transmission, but due to her physical condition, she has much difficulty pressing the thumb switch in order to change gears when she needs to.

The problem is that she has very little thumb strength and Toyota doesn't know of any product on the market that can be used in place of the shift handle. Her fingers are strong enough to use a handle if the release were located under the handle grip - just not the thumb.

If you know of ANY sites or products it would be very helpful and she would appreciate it. She has her heart set on the 2008 Odyssey but knows that unless she can find a way to deal with the shift handle, she will have to look at other vehicles.

Thank you.
