Hey!
Well I too am new to the forum, but have had the Fiero since 03. Last year had to make he call of getting another solid car fulltime cause there are a few things that this 86 SE needs to keep it running smooth. So for now I'm runnin around in an Elantra GT while the notchie sits and awaits the repairs/mods to happen for next summer.
Don't know if this is kewl or not, but you should also check out gtfieros.com if you haven't already.

Yea, I'm a little sad that I haven't had mine out more than driving around my parents yard one afternoon.
Next year will be good... shame I missed the 25th.... and really missed driving the beast

Unhappy

Well I only managed to get about 5 or 6 drives outta my GT this summer.
Seems the older we get, the less time we have to have fun.
Work work work.. blah

Yeah, I go there quite a bit myself, (just to watch) He wins every time, he's never lost in five years.

The final KOTH is this coming saturday, don't miss it, it's invite only for all the cars that have won over the year, So they all get a chance to come back and again, be beat by the Fiero. lol

It's interesting to see the kind of cars that show up for this, always a few Mustangs and civics or Vette's and mini vans..

and what's even funnier is the HUGE head starts they give to some of the cars like mustangs and hemi's just to see them get so badly smoked. lol

But when ever that Fiero shows up, it's just a race for second place.

And he's just running a bone stock 3800 SC, nothing really fancy, he's a good driver, and he knows that track well. And it helps that his car can corner like it's on rails.. Notice he always takes the outside lane? everyone else always fights for the inside lane, they think it's a quicker way around the track, when in fact off the start like they do, it's slower on a single lap race because of that first and second corner.

anyhoo.. Hope it dosen't rain next saturday, should be a good time!
