the Ducati Desmosedici RR is not the fastest production bike but the most expensive production bike ever produced but it does have all the best components parts id say the best over all bike 'till this days but as for the fastest production bike id go for the new 08 SUZUKI GSX1300R im a SUZUKI guy so i have to support the manufacturer

as far i can remember a stock trim Hayabusa did 205 mph on the Bonnaville SaltFlat as far for Kawasaki 14R i have not even heard an attemp to breaking that record but it does have an advantaged due to extra 100cc it does make good no. at a 1/4 mile drag slightly quicker ET

the desmosedici RR is the quickest. i was watching some motorcycle show on my satelite a british show. they never tested it. but its specs are

165kg wet.
210hp
989cc

its alot lighter then the busa and the zx14 R and its making more power.

they are estimating low low low 9s 1/4 and over 200plus top speeds but yes these are estimates. but lets say that the busa and the zx14r are faster they are 1300cc and 1400cc. so the desmosedici RR is definatly the quickest 1000cc and under.

I have a friend with a Busa with a T3 turbo! Over 300whp on a bike, now thats insane! I have never in my life seen ANYTHING pull so freakin hard! Within 2 seconds he was a football field in front of us in a 450whp streetcar!

yeap thats true fully built Busa with turbo pushing 500+ hp can hit the drag at 7 sec. almost 200mph
