Power Antenna Install

Those who have done it on a camaro, did you follow any guides, or could you help me out. I see the wires, but Im not quite sure where to splice them at. Im afraid to splice them near the shock sensor. I know Danielle has done it, but Im not sure if the wiring changed at all over 3 years. Any help at all would be great. Ive had my antenna for like 3 weeks now uninstalled lol.

i did it on carmen. the red wire is power, the black is ground, then...what other wire is there? i wired mine to a switch...under my radio, so because of this i wired the power wire to the cig lighter. if youre not doing that wire it to another hot wire in the car. then ground the black one, then the other one is the remote wire. like i said mine was on a switch. i did this because i know theres a wire to wire it to come on when the radios on and off when theres a CD, but i couldnt find it.

I know what color the wires are... Im wiring where the wires already are by the antenna. They are insde of a dress up wire, a big hose looking deal (not sure what the technical term for those are) but Im going to wire it right there. Im wondering where I should splice... Maybe ill take some pics tomorrow so you know what Im talking about, but theres a shock sensor right nearby inside the qp.

as long as your splices aren't getting in the elements you can splice pretty much anywhere. Wires don't care where tehy are spliced
