i have battey problems with my honda 350?

i have battey problems with my honda 350?
I have a 1971 honda sl 350 and I was wondering why this year i have gone through a battery every month since april?

recharger isn't putting out. i would try a trickle charge on battery charger.

Either you have something that is draining the battery down, or it is not recharging.Get an ammeter and with everything turned off, disconnect one side of the battery and put the ammeter between the battery and the disconnected lead. If there is current, then there is something draining the battery. If not then the charging circuit is at fault.Once you know which is the problem, you can move forward.Good luck.
