Question Short Shifters

Forgive the but i was wondering will a short shifter made for a D series engine currently in my 97 civic work when i swap a b series tranny in it?

When i'm looking at them, some have applications geared toward 88-00 civic/crx, or 96-98 civic, so i'm guessing some are universal across some years, but i wanna be sure

it should be fine, short shifters are sold for civics 88-00 so i'm pretty sure the shifters are universal

you will just need to stick some washers in to space it over to the one side. the b series one is about 5-6 mm wider then the D-Series one
