uh..probably like....2-3 grand for an lt1 with pretty high mileage

yup, or you could find a low mileage one wrecked, and fix it up little by little when you have the rest of the money.

I have seen them as low as $1200 here very high milage, and trashed I wouldn't pay over 3 grand for an lt1 car that's high book

and the trend is for people to spend double what a car is worth 5-7 is way too much for a car that old (your talking about a 10 year old car or so)
