Are you familiar with the Rockford area exits? We are likely to pass by the Roscoe/Rockton section about 9:30-10:00, so you could get another hour or 2 of sleep. I could call you to wake you if you specify XX number of minutes to get to that exit, and I'd call you that many minutes before we get there. Like 40, 60, 70, whatever.
Currently Damon is planning to ride shotgun as Commander of the Scouting Run, I am Pilot. No others yet but you - we didn't invite the vette/cavy/GTP/GTO/Magnum dirvers along.

I get off work at around 3 a.m. but I'll probably still end up doing the whole route with you. Not gonna try and play catch up somewhere in IL. Since you are leaving from J-ville it'd be easier for me to just head out with you 2 then. And forecast seems to be okay for Friday so far. Guess I can catch up on sleep when I'm dead.

We wouldn't play "catch up", we cross right over the interstate, after hanging out at the Orchard for a bit. You could nap there if you want, instead. I had figured you would just wait at the crossing for us to pass over, or vice versa.
Great to have you coming along for another cruise - you catch the bug at the BBQ?
Is your plate number the same as when you first got it?

the above referenced another board for midwest F-Bodies where members invited themselves along on the F-Body Cruise with their cavaliers, GTOs, vettes, GTPs, Dodge Magnums, and whatever else. This is just the scouting run.

Yep, it is the same plate # I've always had. Didn't really catch the bug. Still wouldn't do the actual cruise with that many cars. Just something to do before I put the car away for storage. Plus the girlfriend works till 3p.m. so I usaully have nothing going on most Fridays and it'd be scenic and sounds fun. So I take it that it's just going to be 2 cars? Yours and mine? No one else has Friday morning off?

Sorry but that really annoys me. This is an FBODY cruise. I asked if my brother could bring his S2000 on the first cruise I went on and you guys said it was an FBody cruise and that's really it so I said that's fine. I don't understand why other people can't understand that.

I don't really even see why they would want to?????? If there was a corvette show put on by a corvette club for just corvettes it wouldn't eeven cross my mind to pull in with the Hawk. Do people feel the need to "fit in" that badly?

Have you ever been on one of the cruises? Trust me you'd understand after going on one. They are put together extremely well and it's just a blast to do.

Perhaps you have not met any of the supremely arrogant vette owners who feel their cars are far superior to all other cars and therefore should be automatically included in all inferior car clubs and events by default, and we should be grateful and awed by their generosity of gracing us humble nobodies with their presence. May of these same arrogant vette owners seem to forget that with the same post that they mentioned they had purchased a y-body, they also posted the first 10 mods they needed to accomplish just to get it to perform up to the level of our F-Bodies.

Looks like the rain scared off a lot of people.

If I didn't have work I would have been there. Sucks

I'm sure it was more fun only having to worry about a small group over some of the huge ones you've had in the past.
