Only 12 cars made it! And because of that reason, despite the mostly steady light rain, the cruise was a blast and we all had time to talk to everyone.

Oh and I'm sorry about all the crap you had to put up with this year with the cruise. I for one think you do an awesome job on them and I just don't understand why people think they can make up their own rules for something that isn't even theirs.

Thanks for your support. Like I keep saying, it's not that I don't want to include non-f-bodies, it's just that there's no good place to draw the line. I don't want to have this thing get so big that it can't be controlled, and this is the only way to do it. Unfortunately, some people can't seem to understand that. And, one of them just earned a 1-week ban for yet another post on the MFBA board , so it's nice to know the mods there support me too.

I don't think I'm going to post anything on the MFBA board about the cruises, going forward. Everyone there knows where to find the info on the cruises if they want to come, and I'll PM those who regularly attend. I'll still post here and on some of the other boards.

It seems like there's a core group of people who seem to be running amok and posting a bunch of junk that really takes away from the board. Kinda seems like they've taken the board over, and are pushing their opinions on everyone else. Hopefully, the past few instances where Tim deleted several posts out of the headcount thread, and the little break that Zach is getting, maybe means they're trying to clean up the place a little.

I hope so but the MFBA is made up of the same people that have been there for years. I really don't think they want new people but just want to continue to hang out with the same old guys from back in the day.

Yep, that's why some of them refer to it as their Chicagoland "social club" and others need not apply. The biggest reason for creating F-Body Forums was to break off from mfba's garbage, and then those founders sold their F-Bodies and it became Brew City Muscle. There is even 2 (I think) F-Body car clubs in Chicago created as an alternative to mfba. And now ILL FBA, N ILL FBA, etc.

I'm going to work on getting you some vid, Chad. i really tried to concentrate on getting vid clips this time, istead of pics. Used up a 128M card before the lunch stop. Clearly I'm amateur night though. The vids look like they're in slow motion, even tho one clip shows my speedo at 80mph, the clip looks like about 40mph. I think i looked at 20 clips or so, I'll let you decide what's post-worthy.

And also Jesse, nice to see you agaiin, hope you enjoyed it.

That's why I never really joined. Seems focused on IL and IL centered events. Not alot of WI based gatherings, except for individuals events.

BTW, I was repeatedly informed, repeatedly that the mfba Xmas party was at the Brat Stop in Kenosha. Did I mention that they repeatedly reminded me, repeatedly? I don't even know if I could go, being a non-member.
