If the forecast calls for scattered showers (or better) we'll still go. If it looks like steady rain, we'll cancel. I'll post a message here around 5 or 6pm Friday evening, one way or the other.

I think Ron is still planning to lead a mini-cruise regardless of the weather (except for blizzard), for those who don't care about the weather.

OK, I've decided. I'll come down with the Hawk, and I will lead a cruise on the entire route if Damon cancels the Cruise for weather. I will lead any F-body that comes to the starting point (Mobil). My phone is 608-577-8083 for that day, you can call (once I'm awake) and let me know you'll be late if necessary. I'll plan to depart THE COW in Janesville about 7:00am.
Like mentioned, If a Blizzard is in effect, I'll cancel. Also, if there are terrible thundershowers, we can discuss our options, and sit out the rain for the time it needs to pass.
Damon can mention this on other boards at his discretion.
If non-F-Bodies show up to disrupt the event, I won't go without Damon leading. But I do have a pile of alternative routes we can have fun on.
Tell your towns not to any salt.
I plan to stay Fri night at either Ramada Inn or Motel6 in Janesville.
If grops from other areas want to call me after 6:30am in the event Damon cancels, somebody will have to post my phone for them to call, I won't be on the net from Friday til Sunday, and probably not Thursday.


Also, there has been mention of the area around THE COW being torn down for new construction. For those wondering, as well as those who have not been there before, here are pics from 2 weeks ago:

Construction has not started on this yet. There is construction in the area, but it will not affect anyone coming to the COW.

The cruise is still on. The weather forecast shows 70% chance of occassional showers. We'll get a little wet, but we'll take it easy. We can always cut out early if the weather gets worse.
