I'd advise against the Dunlop GT Qualifiers, I had a set on my SS for a while and they're ok for the first year or so of use, then they go rock hard and traction goes to hell.

347s put the rod too far up the piston and it gets into the rings. Everyone knows this. Buy a 4" stroke crank and build a 408. These days 427 and even 454 small blocks are common. Build a 408, or a 331. But not an oil burnin 347. Itll run good for about 2500 miles....thats it.
