What kinda tires is everyone running this year at the track? and on the street?

4 cylinder 5.0....damn that must be some stroker kit.

anything with tread on the street.
ET drags and ET streets at the track.

347? Better carry a couple cases of oil in the trunk. You'll be needing it.

BFG's just the Radial T/A's the car is bone stock. They work for me.
I can get them to hook anywhere anytime.

Dunlop GT Qualifiers are the hardest hooking radial next to actual drag radials. FYI.

I'd advise against the Dunlop GT Qualifiers, I had a set on my SS for a while and they're ok for the first year or so of use, then they go rock hard and traction goes to hell.

if you need spare parts for your stroker I have some eagle rods/ross pistons and JE pins :)

Been there when I had my stang back in the day. Good luck with the new setup. I ran a 10.5 straight motor on my 347 setup (1st time out).

That just means you gotta wear out a pair of tires every 6 months :thumbsup

347s put the rod too far up the piston and it gets into the rings. Everyone knows this. Buy a 4" stroke crank and build a 408. These days 427 and even 454 small blocks are common. Build a 408, or a 331. But not an oil burnin 347. Itll run good for about 2500 miles....thats it.
