Ok my 89 Camry V6 uber shitbox is fubar

It idles at 2k RPM in park drops to 1000 soon as I pop it into Drive.

When the auto tranny shifts the car sometimes knocks very very violently (after it heats up good it settles down a bit but still knocks)

And today I stop at a red light, after I let go of brake to go she dies. I try to start her but no go, I try again and again and it tries to turn over and finally does, I pop her out of park and boom down she goes again, again I gotta let it sit for like 30 secs before she even tries to turn over. A bit more struggle turning over and she starts and dies again rite outta park. One more attempt then... and she goes and doesn't stall.

Im fairly sure there's some loose connections somewhere because occasionally the car won't start at all. And if u let her sit 10-30 min she'll start just fine.

Whos got random ideas for me?

Start with a fuel and air filter. If that doesn't work, plugs, cap rotor, wires, etc, and buy some carb cleaner from crappy tire, and spray the hell out of the throttle body. If that doesn't help, get a vacuum test done. Most garages charge a minimal amount for that.
