fine for driving with "incorrect" plate sticker?
anyone know the fine for driving with an "incorrect" plate sticker?
Could they tow the car to an impound yard or just pull the plates and leave it to me to get it home?

Check out the sticky at the top of the Tickets forum - there's a link to the fee schedule. The charge would be "drive a motor vehicle - no currently validated permit" if I'm not mistaken. $85+VS
That's only if you haven't tried to modify the sticker, etc. There are no set fines for defacing or modifying your permit or validation - you'd be issued a summons to appear.
In most cases, they wouldn't tow the car to an impound, but they're certainly within the law to do so.
