How to get the book - ABUSE OF POWER

Sorry if I'm bending forum rules here but I've had a lot of requests for my book - ABUSE OF POWER and how to go about getting one, the price and so on.

I get a lot of people requesting the book asking for the info, and then I never hear from them again once they've heard the price. I don't want to mislead anyone. I am not Santa Claus and am not giving the book away for free. I have to charge a price commensurate with what it cost to produce, the effort that went into it and the effort that's still going into it.

The price is $25.00 plus postage. Postage is from Pickering to your address. It can vary because unlike the US, Canada does not have a flat book rate due to geographical vs population challenges.

The book + envelope weighs 300 g. In the Toronto area right now postage is 2.65 but will soon rise to 2.75 just to make the recession/depression harder on everyone equally.

If you want the book, you can e-mail me at jondy@sympatico.ca and say so. I'll e-mail you back with my address and you can send a cheque, money order or you can e-mail the money. E-mailing the money is the fastest cheapest method and I've received money that way once. I have never initiated sending money that way so you'd have to check with your bank to see how its done. I believe it's a better safer method than paypal.

The book itself is spiral bound and 97 pages long. It's spiral bound for a reason. That is the book stays open at the right page and can be folded over on itself. That makes it very convenient in court. Plenty of paralegals have bought the book to educate themselves on exactly how the law came to be and its legal standing.

There is a definitive case going through the courts right now in Napanee. It will set the precedent for all future cases. If you have a case pending, my advice is to delay until this case is heard.

Last December the case was brought before the courts and all present except for the paralegal, Warren Whitton and myself thought the case was going to be a slam dunk for the crown. But Warren had worked out the legal language that hinges on criminal or not criminal and the entire legislation hinges on that question of law. All of the other cases do too because of how the law is written.

This situation does not speak to the constitutionality of the law or the legality of the law. Nothing has come up since I wrote the book to suggest that the law is constitutional and nothing has come up since I wrote the book to suggest that the Ontario government used legal means to enact the street racing legislation. My research and Hansard shows that the Ontario Legislature committed fraud when they passed the legislation at 3rd reading on May 14th 2007. Despite the fact that it is the government that makes the laws, the entire Legislature as individual members each have to comply with the Criminal Code of Canada under the over-riding principle that no one is above the law; not even legislators. So if they use illegal tactics to create a law, then they have still committed a crime just like the guy who knocks off a convenience store.

Anyway the full story is in the book.
