There, hes stopped with is comments and now it looks like mine are stopping...

Well dude now back to your ticket... Sorry for kinda messing up your whole thread here, but yeah.... If you were summoned to court, its def not a trial at the begin... Im going to tell you go with xcopper... If they dont win, then well yeah they pay for everything... See what is like 500 bucks or more and it saves you a criminal record if they want to place something heavy on you.

You don't have any idea at all of what you're talking about.

He's being ordered to appear on a charge for speeding in excess of 50 kmph, for which there is no out-of-court set fine. The judge decides what he gets on conviction but even at that the most he faces is a fine of up to $9.75 for each km over the limit, plus court costs, plus victim surcharge, plus possible 1 year license suspension, plus 6 demerit points, plus whatever insurance surcharge will apply afterwards.

There is no "criminal record" to get, and in absence of an accident and ongoing investigation thereof, there is nothing "heavy" that they will add to this one over and above the speeding charge that has already been laid. If they were going to go heavy, the charges would already have been laid, either for careless (HTA) or dangerous (Criminal Code) driving.

If you don't know, don't make up fairy tales.

But hes not going to get ne charges on hurting people because he didnt... You cant just make that fine appear out of no where... Also I was talking about dangerous driving under the criminal code when i was referring to "heavy" charges.

Just when I thought pornosaur was the biggest retard on this board (and I'm sure he feels the same about me), Ginolicious comes along and totally out-retards anyone else I've ever talked to on here.

Ginolicious, if I buy you a happy meal at McDonald's (I'll even buy you the toy, YAY!), and then drive you to the police station (11 division) will you repeat everything you've said in this thread to the Policeman sitting at the front desk?

It's a surcharge that is 15% percent of what your fine is. Say your fine is $200. With the victim surcharge you'll end up paying a total of $230. Supposedly it goes to programs that help victims of crime and their families.

I gather from your posts that you surely are an idiot.

The Victim Fine Surcharge is applied regardless. You obviously have no idea how set fines work.
