where ya from man?

brantford has ex coppers u can go to just wonderin if u got the same

they are pretty much ex cops that deal with tickets and all that they could prob tell ya the best route to go without any cost to u and without letting ur insurence find out. Aswell as alot of them are kind enough to speak the to officer that was at the scene and find out more information for ya.

lemme know how it works out

ontario cops just basically go and record the details of the accident because we have no fault and if a cop showed up there is a report if not, u need to contact that cops dept/supervisor and ream him out for not doing his job, as far as the accident is concerned, if you were rear ended then it's the person who hit you that is at fault, no question, unless of course you were driving in reverse lol. Her insurance is probably saying they wont pay because you havent contacted yours yet, sometimes ya gotta lean on ppl to get what you deserve, i'd contact yur insurance company, tell em what happened, hopefully hers pays. If you dont say anything and something happens down the road like a neck injury or stuff you didn't know went wrong with yur car that was a cause of the accident then yur pooched. Post what happens

There does NOT have to be an motor vehicle collision report made out for any damage under $1000.

Reportable accidents where an MVC report is needed is for damage over $1000, injury accident or damage to property (road signs, guard rails, houses, fences etc)

So the only question would be to attend to the local division/detachment and speak to a supervisor and ask why the person was not charged that hit you. There does not have to be an accident report as it does not fall under that criteria.

Might have to go via small claims court to get your damage paid for, this would avoid your insurance. Of course you will have all the other driver's particulars as well, but re-check with the police first.
