Its the exact reason why toronto is such a big hole. They should have a mandatory course which teaches manners and respect for other people, before you can enter the country.

I had some fukin foreigner run right into me at the mall the other day because he thought I should move for him. Sorry but you dont own the sidewalk... walk on the RIGHT SIDE like everyone else in this country. Needless to say, I plowed the kid because Im about 500% bigger and stronger than him. Then his POS father turns around and tries to act tough, saying I should move out of the way of his son (18 yrs old) and him. I just stood there waiting for him to come up to me so I could "welcome" him to Canada. Too bad he was one of those tough guys who yells as he walks away.

Now I know why so many people who live here get out of the city on the weekends and go north to their cottages to get away from these nuisances.

ron i agree with you, fuken people think they own the world, which is why i dont go to the gta, i hate feeling like ive gone on vacation to a shitty country when really ive only gone an hour away from home. maybe the gov should screen people better and i dunno, not send everyone to the gta, redireect them out west where theres 20 000 jobs that need filling, not the gta where theres a shortage. yet the gov keeps cramming people in there, hoping more land magically develops.

Lucky You, Id just say that my friend needed a ride to the hospital because he was injured or something along the lines, you need to make them believe in the court that you were behind the wheel for a reason and that reason was to help someone out and that you were aware of the consequences but you wanted to help...

z24 first of all canada was built on immigrants, we are the majority you are the minority get that fact straight. Second of all i had some major trafic tickets out there that were haunting me but i kept stalling and eventually came to court and the police officer didn't so right away the judge dismissed my charges. Im telling you the truth and the facts the whole process took like 5 minutes.

You're ****ed, unless the officer doesn't show up, which in your case with a straight summons they most likely will. You're better off pleading guilty with an excuse and they might be leinant and drop a charge or two. If you want to get insurance in the next 3 years you're better off getting a lawyer. Before you even have your lisence you already have a suspension and points against you.

Anyways, I know what I did was wrong and I fully understand the consequenses and its something I won't be repeating. Like I said before everyone makes mistakes in life and this was my mistake. I just want to be able to make things better and step-up to my mistakes and make sure I don't repeat myself. I don't need people bashing me or eachother. I just came on here for friendly mature advice.

Thanks to those who have given my advice. Different opinions definetly help and give me somesort of lead to follow.

I am thinking of making an appointment with the Crown Attorney and try to explain my situation and see if they would cut me some slack. I don't have a record and this is the first serious mistake I've ever done in my life.

I've been in contact with one place that fights tickets and they said they would charge me $800. I have paid my suspension and it was for a "jaywalking" ticket that was unpaid. Too bad I never received a ticket and now I have to go to Guelph to investigate this ticket. But before that I have to go to court to fight the other summons. I was told that I would only be charged with "disobeying sign" $85 and 2 points. Other than that I would be off and I don't even have to go to court they would actually go to court for me and fix it.

Any more advice is appreciated, thanks again!

i totally agree. I'm an immigrant myself. i arrived in this beautiful country when i was nine and i ADAPTED to the ways of life and respected the country the way it was meant to be respected. My parents bust their asses and make a legit buck in jobs that dont really fall in the field of their higher education, but they do it cuz they love it here too.

i have roots to my motherland, but as of right now i am a canadian and i love it. This does not mean that i have forgotten where i come from.

I also follow canadian bylaws and i get pissed off when someone ****s up the country that i live in. i also think that if you dont like it GTFO!
