Shitty night, need some advice
First time ever getting tickets, OPP guy didnt like me I guess.
OPP pulled me over for speeding, big time speeding on HWY400. Over 50+kmph and he didnt drop it one bit.
He then holds up a flashlight checking lights and tells me my front signal lights are not yellow and thats against the HTA. He asks for my papers and I gave it to him. Then he comes back and says this is not what he wanted. I actually had the plate permit paper instead of my vehicle permit. Been pulled over so many times for random checks and not one Cop has ever mention it before.
Anyways, he takes his 5 minutes jerking off then comes back and slaps me with 2 tickets and a summons to court for speeding.
1 ticket for improler signal bulbs
1 ticket for improper papers
1 Summon to Court for speeding
Should I get someone like X-Copper or something to see if i can get rid of these?

If anything get Theresa at Quest to fight your tickets.
Most other places will try to just talk them down and take your money,
She will try to beat them and take a little less then other places.
If u need the number send me a PM

How fast were you going, and how fast does the ticket say? Do you agree you were going this fast?
What colour are your front signal lights? Why did the officer need a flashlight to check your signal lights?
One other thing, there is no such offence as "improper papers". You probably didnt quote that from the ticket, but can you? Did you have the vehicle permit with you?
If you hire an agent they are going to ask you these questions anyway.

My signals are the same every car that changes them. They blink a white. Flashlight was mainly to see if my tires were rubbing? not sure he asked to turn the wheels one way and checked both sides really fast.
I had with me the plate permit thinking it was the vehicle permit. So when he came back, he didnt even ask if i had the vehicle permit, he wrote a ticket and came back with all of them and told me, ticket for signal lights not being with the HTA and 1 ticket for not showing the proper documents and then said a summons to court and turned around and said free to go.

Dont get upset at the officer for writting you all these tickets. I say that for a couple of reasons. By your own admission you were travelling over the speed limit, and failed to produce the vehicle permit. So he was within his authority to write the tickets. The officer is probably somewhat expecting you to fight them. Even if he reduced the speeding you would probably still fight these charges right? If he did reduce them he would be tying the prosecutors hands.
Depending on your conviction history the prosecutor might offer to withdraw one or even both tickets if you plead guilty to the speeding. Prosecutors usually don't make deals if there is a previous conviction for the same offence.
So do you hire an agent? Well thats up to you. Some agents advertise a "we win or you don't pay" deal. That might sound good, but if they are able to negotiate any type of deal or reduction it is considered a win. Just remember that their fee may be higher than the cost of the ticket they had withdrawn. That means it costs you more money in the end.

its nice that everyone is trying to make him feel good when the reality of the matter is that you are ed....you better get a real lawyer and let him take care of all three tickets instead of saying you will take care of the two minor ones because a lawyer will want all three....you probably drive a honda, and most honda drivers are idiot drivers anyway so you get what you deserve....the 400 isnt the autobahn.
