Why do insurance companies ask if your lisence has been suspended in the past 6 years when all the MTO can give you is a 3 year printout? Mine was suspended twice one for an offense one for non payment. 1 was 4 years ago the other (non payment was last year) which isint even listed on my drivers abstract. I currently have 2 minor tickets one is 3 years in june. Therefor when shopping for a policy when they ask what my record is like I could just say "heres my up to date abstract i cant remember anything past this"?

I'm not sure how far back an insurance company can go, but the last time I got pulled over, the officer was able to search me all the way back to when I first got my liscense. If they can do it, I would think that an insurance company could too.
