ticket for no permit

yesterday i was stopped by a cop for speeding but he didn't have me on radar so he gave me a $110 ticket for "no permit", he said if i try to fight the ticket he'll let the crown know that i was speeding also. is there any way i can fight the ticket and win, or should i just make my $110 donation to the doughnut fund. any help is appreciated. thanks.

StealthZ has a little shameless behaviour in the past
he cant do anything about the speeding anymore. is it any points? if not, just pay it and be done with it.

Make an appointment to see the Prosecutor within 15 days of getting the ticket. Then bring your valid permit to the appointment. You might get lucky and not have to pay or pay less.

If you had a valid permit at the time the ticket was issued, make an appointment with the prosecutor.

The officer can tell the prosecutor whatever he wants - he has to be able to provide some evidence if he's going to charge you.

At the same time you make your appointment with the prosecutor, ask for a disclosure form - complete it and give it to the clerk. The officer will then be required to provide any evidence he might use at trial - you'll get copies of that before your meeting with the prosecutor.
