notice how he said nothin about the unproffessionalism of the cop....face it..cops are crooked. Just recently, my mom's best friend's husband (a pastor might I add, and a very good friend of my family) was framed and accused of having guns and other firearms in his church. He was harrassed by cops daily, and was even run off the road once by a black SUV carrying four men in 'black suits'.. He was accused of all these things and was even thrown in jail.. later came the trial, and they had nothing on him..it was all a b/s scheme. Did i forgot to mention that this man is a pastor. Gldwngr, youve probably heard of him.. does the "pistol packing pastor" ring a bell to you? it happened here in cobourg, and ur not that far away.. im sure youve had your laughs about this incident.

I didn't say anything about the "unprofessionalism" of the cop because there's no evidence in your stories to suggest there is any. For all you know, there really could be a bunch of tickets against your name for any number of reasons, such as computer error, identity theft, and so on. You haven't bothered to get an abstract of your record from MTO, so you have no way of knowing what the cop was or was not seeing on his screen when he ran your name and license.

Regarding the "pistol packing pastor", do you really think a bunch of cops are going to one day just say, let's have some fun with this pastor just for the hell of it? For all you know, there was evidence on the pastor, but things happen in court and the guilty get let off all the time. And occasionally the innocent also get dragged through the process because of the way evidence is interpreted.

I'm sure you heard of the OJ trial - was he really innocent? Do you know for sure? That he wasn't convicted doesn't mean that he was factually innocent, nor does the not guilty verdict prove that the cops were out to maliciously get him either.

You say with one sweeping statement that "cops are crooked". That says much about your attitude, and that attitude together with other nuggets you've left here tells me that you're likely to see a whole lot of other cops up close and personal in less than cordial circumstances because of that attitude.

Oh, and the "guys" in black suits - that was agents Sculley and Mulder.
