Hey gang,

There's just something about the way a hood tach looks plus it being handy to look at while driving and not cluttering up the dash that makes me want to install one on my '77. The problem is where to get one at a reasonable price and solid value. I'd appreciate any help in finding one!

check paddock parts, and npd. May be able to find a used one on ebay

go to year one they deal with all that old stuff

I checked Paddock Parts but only found hood tach cables.

year one is the last place to check unless you like spending 20% more for the same thing and worse service. Classic should have it, you may want to call also they have parts not listed in teh catalog

I had a half a second long thought about putting a tach in the cowl... then i looked down and saw the auto tranny and decided aginst it.

Well, give yourself some credit for thinking! Mines an auto but sometimes I like to drive it like it wasn't- and until I put a more agressive muffler on it, I'd like to be able to tell what's going on without turning the stereo down (which BTW doesn't work right now, got a bad wire someplace and a fuse to change.)
