Yeah...

Okay, I am a domestic guy. Always have been, always will be.

That having been said, I do own and daily ( on the summer) an H swapped Honda Accord.

I ****ing love it. I get tons of hate from all my buddies until I pound their 302 cubic inches into the ground. Judgez, don't take that as hate towards your mustang.

SRT-4 vs. STI? Are you serious?

Year to year, you cant compare.

I mean, sti is what, almost double the cost ? While the sti is a sick ride, it also has a few more features.

Civic vs SRT is more reasonable.

Civic and Yugo is more like it. Both are tin cans with no options that can only be made fast by swapping in another engine.

I'm talking about your average one, not yours, hahah.

I personally know that with very minor bolt ons and a gear you can make those things quick as all get out.

oh yeah the average ones arent that fast. my cavalier on the motor would hang a lightly modded stang. but theyre cheap to make go fast. free tricks and a few hundred bucks and youve got a contender. theyre kinda like the grand nationals in a way, its ahrd to find one that hasnt been tampered with and you never really know what to expect

Doesnt matter really. If your a car enthusiast you should be respecting anything thats fast for its type of racing. Swapped or not, if its fast its fast. But if its ugly, say it is ugly it deserves it. Still talkers running 11s will say 12s are slow on the street when you could easily outrun 99% of whats left of your city.
One of my favorite track cars, go ahead make fun that it runs 14s

HAHA The thieves didn't even care to sit the car on bricks after stealing the wheels. They probably took the front ones first so that the rears would be up high and easier to take off... HAHA

If SRT are so hot how come their at the back of pack when comes to SCCA Touring car challenge on speed channel they can't compete in that class with Acura TSX and RSX's. It is not about straight line speed only. I had an IROC Z with a some small mods that would crush your hair dryer support motor in a straight line. Now I have a Honda which would out handle it and maybe a second or 2 slower to 100km/hr than the IROC Z and I would still rather have that than straight line speed. It's about balance and build quality.

funny how the honda owners always bring up the "turning corners" excuse.

Why don't you address what I stated about the speed channel touring challenge that has strict regulations to provide even playing field where straight line speed, turning and braking which is all incorporated. The SRT was still at the back of the pack. Face it . 1994 H22a Prelude Tubro will leave SRT in the dust . Everybody talks about Civics, there is other honda out there. The H22a honda engine produces 180whp before turbo do you think your brothers could do that with 2.2 litres of engine and acheive clean emissions. The 1990 camaro 5.7 litres engine produces 240 hp at the fly what a waist metal that burns gas and oil. By the way I heard that dodge might be laying people off and honda is hiring. Do you want Application?
