I know I could make 500whp on pump with that turbo, but I can tune like that
Besides... 500WHP is pushing it regardles on what setup you have for pump gas... one bad batch of gas and say good bye to your motor... unless of course you happen to have knock sensors connected to u'r ECM (are are tuning w/ the factory ECU and are using the factory knock sensors)...
I wouldn't tune for 500WHP on 94... it CAN be done... that doesn't me it should be done

With that set-up he should make more then 350-400 on pump, and more than 500whp on C16. I know I could make 500whp on pump with that turbo, but I can tune like that
Adam, when I upgrade turbos again, i'll be going with something of a simular size, and I have less displacement....but I know I can make it work with 2-step and anti-lag.

he's one of my good friends relative... i remember him giving me a ride home in his wrx lol damnn. he also taught me how to drive stick lol. i got my civic and couldnt drive it, but after a few laps around the block with him, i got the hang of it, good guy. i saw pics off my friends cell phone, but havent see it myself, looks insane. i wanna race that in 2 years if he still has it
edit: he told me they wont let him plate it cause it has to have gay bilingual airbag stickers and stupid stuff like that.

With that turbo on what motor/setup though?

I could get that out of my current set-up with that turbo. I am actually close to that as it is now....but to be fair I'm doing it with 94+meth, not straight pump. I do happen to have a knock sensor. I have actually set my 'check engine' light set to come on when I get 3 counts of knock. I also have complete control of my timing which is key to making good power on pump (or any gas for that matter). I first tune my AFR(via my wideband), then I see how much timing I can get away with.

Hopefully he still has it in a couple of years. I saw it the other week, and its sweet as hell. I'm trying to tell him to gut it and make it a track-only car, but its slowly losing parts and they're appearing on a 2G talon named "Spike".

Very very clean looking car with a potent setup, congrats
what are u studyin at ryerson?
only thing id change on that car is the 4 spoke wheels and the acura steering wheel, but good job on keeping it subtle (except for the fmic)
ur gonna run anti-lag on a street car? its an amazing concept but i thought it was strictly for racecars because of how quick the parts wear out (mainly turbo)
if you are bored shoot me a pm with ur idea (im also on the hunt for a 1G btw)

Well I'm not gonna run it, I already am running anti-lag. I don't really use it off the launch, as I build too much boost and I end spinning all 4s thru 1-2. With my 2-step I can build 5psi off the line and with anti-lag I can open my wastegate. Right now I mainly use anti-lag for inbetween shifts to keep the turbo spooled. But your right, it is more stress on the set-up but really makes the big turbos more friendly on smaller dissplacement motors, especially if they're not BB turbos.

Aiite kids .... the seat went in on sunday and it looks sooooo good. It looks fantastic. its lighter and very comfortable. Took the car for a drive on sunday afternoon on hwy7 in markham wow havnt driven in canada before but you guys have alot of "souped up cars" . but to make a long story short i raced a guy in a 3000gt. I didnt think i would beat him cuz im a lil rusty (havnt driven teh civic in over two months) but we went at it from hwy7 and woodibine all the way to the theather enterance. I left him pretty fast. N i noe he was racing cuz after in teh parking he drove up beside me and asked me wat was under the hood n i showed him. he was surpirsed. I kinda felt good. lol yeh just thought id share.

nice! pics of the seat please!! bride seats are sickk
just some advice, i dont know about the states, but here, unless you have a crazy alarm system (even then), i wouldnt open the hood and show random people after races or whatnot cause civics have a way of dissapearing like that here
