pics of my new car

figure i wouldnt hold it as a suprise and just share what i baught. first off i was looking at a bike, had my license etc etc and then said well, the guy im gonnabe riding with has turned into a dick over the last month and really i wont have too much fun on a bike. we went to the drag strip and i got horny for another car. so first i though ok ill get a dsm, got a ride in my buddies brand new sti and the awd gave me a hard on. but then i said naw i want something a little more reliable and cheaper to build. i wanted an f body but it was out of my price range. so then after talking to my buddy for a bit i decided it was time to find the right car for me. something ive always wanted to buy but could never part with my car for. well as luck would have it my car lost its motor and then the hunt was on. so on saturday we went car shopping, looked at a couple cars, i liked the first i saw but the bosy was rough, but the list of mods was huge. had i been able to get the money for both i would have baught both. but i couldnt. so then i saw this car. completely un touched. never drag raced. never modified. still ahs the quad shocks in it. still has the air silencer, all the bullshit is still there. car is un modified and solid. floors are clean. has one small spot of rust that will be fixed after winter. aside from that the car is spotless.

before we go to the pics, this is exactly what ive been looking for. this car. this color, this body style. the only thing that i dont like is the interior cause its read and black but that will be changed come spring.

4I'm not sure, I know it was the first year of MAF instead of SD, makes it a little harder to boost.

thanks guys.

ive got all the needed to change it over so im not worried

got it cheap. 2600 plus a cobra bumper cover that cost me 201+ tax.

car is in really nice shape and only has that one small rust spot on it. oh and its an optionless car, manual everything. time to go fast

There was a fuel-injected stang in 84' but it was garbage. The 87/88's were speed density. If you're going to put any kinda boost, or even a cam its a good idea to swap that out to the later (89+) Mass Air because SD doesnt like to be modded much. Stock for stock they say the SD cars were a bit faster than the MAF cars tho. If you're gunna boost it, the limit of the stock block is about 500rwhp before you're almost guaranteed for it to split, and even then its a timebomb. If you have a 5-speed the T5 is already pretty much at its limit with the stock engine, lol. AOD's are a little beefier but not great. Looks like a nice clean car to start with though, tough to find ones that arent rotten. Nice ride.
