What I meant was, looking at all the crap that's in the areas where they would have to go, it seems like I would need to remove some of the emissions BS in order to get them on there. (But then again, I have no idea what half that stuff is around the valve covers) I was referring to keeping it legal as far as having all the required emissions BS on there.

If I don't know what I'm talking about, and they will fit over top of all that stuff, then there's nothing in the world that will stop me from getting them. I assumed that Ca. was more strict on their emission requirements than most places.

I'm still not sure where in Ca. I'll be moving........obviously the price of living will have to factor into my decision, but I've always wanted to move to the San Diego area, (which is probably one of the most expensive places in Ca. to live) I just figured the further south I went, the better the weather would be, which is 90% of the reason I'm moving south.

well mine passes emissions fine. i didnt remove anything to install my FRCs.

palmdale is about an hour north of LA. average homes at about 2,000 sq ft start at 300,000. if you go down to valencia, which is about a half hour south, the price doubles...in LA...well...you can imagine.

plus we get an annual 12 inches of rain a year or something rediculously low like that...its sunny and hot or cold and windy...but not much rain!
