hmmm open house, im gonna talk to a friend i would love to see something like that in person! It reminds me of some of the NASCAR chassies ive seen, espessially with the wheel tubs, no body and side exhaust. I have one question though, why 3 link instead of 4 bar?

This type was chosen by myself and the customer for a few of reasons, 1.The three link rear suspention uses only three links to locate the axle longitudinally in the car. With the three link system, there is more oppertunityto get the optimum roll steer and anti-squat characteristics without rerstricting the roll angle between the axel and the car. 2. Many short track race cars use the three link rear suspention, so this system obviously works very well for high-performance applications.3.packaging is a plus as well, we did a triangulated for link in his other car we built.

Man this is soo sweet. you guys ever have another open house or whatever post it up. I'm an engineering student (mechanical/automotive) and i live for this kind of stuff. my dream is to build a 68/69 or a 70-72 camaro that looks mostly stock but completely redesign the chassis/suspension and build a race motor. i think resto-rods or retro-rods or w/e they're called are so cool. you got the class and style of the late 60's early 70's but the performance, technology and refinement of today.

project DARKNESS is near the end

Hope you all like the new pics and we hope to see you all at Performance World car show next year. This car will be there for you all to see. Also we will put it through its paces at both mosport and grand bend race track as this project is double duty.
Keep the rubber side down.
Garth
