Sony VS Pioneer (My opinion based on having owned both before)
Decks: Sony (more functional)
Speakers: Pioneer (better clarity)
Amps: Sony (both got hot, however, sony put out more power)
Subs: Sony (took more power then the pioneer, and was much louder)
Final Saying: Stay away from both! Go with Alpine, best bang for the buck (at dealer prices though).

i run all alpine components in my cars
btw did u get a chance to compare the PREMIERE line up of subs by pioneer
with the sony
and you rated the sony decks better then the pioneer simply because of their functionality?
