I like subaru Legacy GTs... nice balance between affordability and reliability.. and you have the all wheel drive which is a nice platform for upgrades.. I hear you can throw a WRX motor in there for relatively cheap...

Price range would help - otherwise get yourself a 300C

It's too bad they dont hold their value...or maybe it's a good thing.....
Either way - I still think they have lots of potential

insurance wise - I would think the 300 would be cheaper
4-dr, domestic vs 2-dr import

The original poster has to be alittle more specific on preferance 2dr, 4dr, wagon, ect. V6, V8, I4, H4, H6, theres alot out there if you have money. If your going to go honda/acura buy after 98 cause they started galvanizing both sides of the metal after that year and less rust problems. Every car has problems japanese imports i find are usually cheaper to fix than domestics, but domestics are cheaper on insurance and you usually get more for you money.
Go for test drives because poeple can say there great but for you, you might think otherwise when you sit inside and drive the car.

Get a Jetta/Golf TDI, chip and injectors and your set. Still can get 750+kms on a tank with this done, and the power is pretty impressive. To find one that is non turbo, you'll have to go fairly old (not sure what year exactly)

not going to lie thoes are are expensive ... im looking for something 15 000 TOPS

I have been looking at Mada 6

I need something very cheep on insurance on a 2001 Chrystler Sebring im looking at 5000... so putting another car thats even remotely related to "sport" is out of the question.. which im also assuming so are all 2 doors and no awd. o ya, THE CAR WILL BE STANDARD!
