I was passing by a local car dealer today and seen a sweet looking 98 camaro in the lot for sale. The car is black with chrome rims. From what i've seen so far the body looks mint as well as the rims. Just would like to know what I should look for when i go to check out this car. Not really sure if they came with different options as far as engines and what not so let me know so i can check it out when i get there tomorrow. Also what is the performance on these cars like? I had a 350 tpi 3rd gen is it much better performance wise then the car i had? How much hp were these cars rated for? Thanks for any info.

things to look for check weather strips, if it's t top check to see if they leak,look at the tread wear if they are uneven it needs aligment and maybe other suspension work, should be new enough not to worry about rust.

It was a 5 cylinder . passed it up they wanted way to much for it 9,000 and it had 80,000 miles on it. I did see a mustang 98 4.6ltr. v8 though that looked pretty sweet. thinking about it 55,000 mi . on it and i can get it for 8g's.
