recently ive had an issue with pinging really bad under hard WOT conditions. now today my low oil light came on. my engine doesnt leak a drop. damn dude these things really do burn oil.

hey matt you care to elaborate on what you've heard? i did some research and read a lot about the pcv system sucking ***** so i might get a catch can but i wanna see what you know.

thats what i have a feeling i'll end up getting. so far with my new PCV valve i dont notice it pinging, but then again its only been in there for 16 miles

see how the new one does in there, if no good, get a catch can like you said. change the oil and check it consistently for a few weeks and figure out how bad it actually is. might be worse like blowby through the rings. got a warranty?

and im sorry, i didnt mean to jinx ya, although LS1s and burning oil... like marrying a chick with fake , eventually there will be side effects. good luck...

what really interests me is that when i have my lid on its really really noticeable but with the stock lid its hard to tell. i'll just have to stop going WFO. thanks.
