This setup will give you great performance and at the same time the car will have good street manners.

Well there is actually a shop i called and they said they would do head work that would blow the LT-4 heads away when matched with the Lt-4 intake and a longer duration cam for like 12-14XX bigger valves better spring ported polished the works.

well.....if it was up to me, i would spend the 5 bills on nitrous, and spend the rest of the money making the car hook. Thats my favorite method of going fast. If your car can hook, you can embarrass a lot of car much faster than you, and with the nitrous, you will have both the power, and that car will go like stink. should make 400hp at the wheels with the nitrous on, which is almost as much as with the LT4 kit, but you save $2000 that you can save for a rebuild on the motor when it comes time. even stock heads and intake with a nitrous grind cam would put you near the 450 mark, and then you'll have forged pistons that you can run more juice on. Just my take on the situation.
Suspension upgrades:
Control Arms
Subframes
Adjustable Shocks and struts
Drag springs
And some sticky tires.= go like h*ll

Umm..LT4 kit claims 425 at the flywheel-which is hugely different than rear-wheel.
And- to make 400 horse at the wheels you would need about a 175 shot which would basically destroy the stock drivetrain if you had traction. Trust me on that- I have seen it personally. I wouldn't run more than a 100, maybe a 125 if you have all the safety devices in place.
Lt4 kit = way overated!!
Set of ported heads, matched intake, a good stout cam and a decent tune should put you around 400 flywheel which is fine for most people I think.
But keep in mind all the other things that you have to get when you are doin a motor build.
Gaskets-$150 at least
Head Bolts- at least $50
Plus prolly another $50 in various stuff that you will run into along the way-
