Camaro 3.8 V-6 to 5.7 V-8 Conversion!

It's like everyone is saying, time and money can do anything. However, if you are planning on taking this on by yourself, like I did, I would look for a donar car, a wreck, and swap out everthing. Not just any wreck, look for one that still runs, but is considered a wreck because it would cost to much to repair. If you can find a donar car that is running, but the body is all beat up, better still, this will save you thousands of dollars. Believe me! When I say swap out everthing, I mean everything. It's alot of work, but there are no mod's, or very little if any, that has to be done, if you do the conversion this way. Most of the work is simply transferring everything from one car to the other. Perhaps alot of drilling new holes, stuff like that. One very important note, make sure the donar car is running, and that everything is working as it should be. You will be glad you did the conversion this way! If you go the other route and piece meal a conversion like this, it's much harder to do, you will run into problems, there will be tons of roadblocks, and it will cost you thousands of dollars more. Someone gave me this advice, and I did not take it. Today, my car is still not running, and I'm still purchasing things to get the engine running. I gladly give this advice to anyone who wants to do a conversion like this. Good luck!
