Yep, once the 6 speed autos come out then the manuals will have even less of an advantage.

Except they'll still be a lot more fun to drive, that's why I'll always buy a stick. Nothing to do with performance but everything to do with pure driving enjoyment.

You get bored driving a manual?! But you're shifting and using the clutch while on an auto you put it in the D with the little circle around it and you're done (Like grandma's car).

X2, with my Hypertech shift kit installed my car can bang the gears just like a stick.

Add a high stall torque converter and you will launch just like a stick.
