ill talk to him and tell him to fix it right and see if it works i had a holley but it was leaking gas so i changed it to this one but this one sucks and i want to take it out to the street cause its been like 6 months and i need to take it to the street
they told me it was really high performance do you think the 305 could handle it what can i do in order to make the 305 run fast do i need to take it to a machine shop or something
make a 305 fast hook it to a boat and use it as an anchor, the 305 is a horrible design (the cylinders are too small for good flow)really high performance cam is a little too vague you need real spechs
its not that the bore is too small for any real flow...well kinda, in theory a 305 should be able to make just as much power as a 302, actually should be able to make 3 cubes more. However since the bore is so small you cant get any decent sized valves on there. And thats what makes the 305 such a horrible design.
If u get some vortec heads that thing can have some get up n go, i dont know of any other heads that flow as well as those with the 1.94 (i think it is) intake valve size.
