Okay everytime I put my car into drive from reverse i always roll back .. like more than im supposed to i think .. my car has always done that but its startin to get really bad .. i dk what it could be.. any ideas?

how far does it roll, and what kind of incline? it can roll up to a foot in park if on a steep incline and low idle it will roll forever (you can push the car in gear when it's not running)

are you holding the break in as your doing it, i know if i dont hold the brake in my car as i shift from reverse to drive my car coasts back like a foot before it catches

is it clicking or popping while it rolls, if the tranny is old, it might be close to time to rebuild/replace it, I just had mine done because it was doing the same thing and soon it wouldn't shift at the right points.
