Its a pain, believe me. And just hope you dont have to remove the right valve cover. That bolt behind the block handle support thingie... what a *****, its under that damn handle lol.

Not really hard, just time consuming. Just make sure you give yourself an entire day to get it done. Having a friend help is always a good idea.

FrYd-RyS 11-05-2006 02:35 PM

only problem is..my friend is a mustang guy..he owns a 4cylinder mustang with a turbo..and he curses the way the engines are so far into the firewall

Key words there. Its not hard, but its not a quick process either.

Spark plug socket, other than that idk.

GUGdaTHUG3 11-05-2006 03:08 PM

What you need:
wrenches, sockets, metric tools, pliers
some extensions, welder and saw.

Nothing outta the ordinary. The install wont be that hard, just time consuming like everyone has implied. The hardest part would be taking off the old manifolds off. I'l be doing this soon, so i can probably help you out.

blue89vert 11-05-2006 03:17 PM

yeah, what gilbert said. getting the manifolds off is the harder part. Just takes a long time...and patience
