I was thinking more along the lines of old cars/trucks that had body mounts. Since our cars are unibody, I haven't heard of anyone swapping out the body mounts-

They aren't usually done by the home mechanics since they are seldom seen (how many of you have pulled the cradle?) I tend to replace any rubber bushing when 1 shows signs of wear

If you are talking about the engine cradle, I just took mine out last week and didn't see any rubber bushings...

there should be something in there (been along time since I was under a 4th gen) seems like they are just small bushings though

Everything was metal on metal- the only bushings I found were in the suspension components-

honestly i would think that they would have some sort of body mounts like arch said in the cradle.. but then again i checked all my books and iv never heard anyone replace them so..
