ripped leater
ripped leater
i noticed the side bolster ripping on my leather seat. is there something to rub on it to seal it? i thought ive seen something on an infomercial...
As a temporary fix by some upolstery thread and a upolstery needle, it is curved. Turn the ripped ends inward to the foam and sew it up. There is nothing I know of to "rub" on it. Mine did the same as most f bodies do. This is what I ended up doing until my wife makes new leather covers in two tone to replace my worn leather.
it isnt bad yet. what i could do before it gets worse i can switch the top parts of my front seats. that way the rip will be on the inside of the passenger seat and it wont get worse and it wont be noticed.
