It would change everything almost. Bottom end is what gets almost all the wear and tear. The only thing that moves on the top end is the valves. It would basically be a new motor.

really? awsome looks like I need to look more into this. There are alot of RS V8s around here for sale and cheap to. Get one save up and just do the bottom end change with the other needed stuff and im set. Time to start savin money. Ill be askin u for help if needed of course.

well the only real parts left from the 305 would be heads and intake so you'd have a new engine

Sure thing bro, if you dont care if you have a stick or an auto then u might as well look for a 3rd gen with a 350 in it already. So that way you can reuse the block and just have it bored 30 over and rebuild the bottom end (if you plan on doing that donno if you wanna buy a whole new bottom end or build it still havent told us )

Jess that is hard. So far i am the only 3rd gen around my area that has a 350. People are amazed that it's a 350 because they are so rare nowadays.
