What kind of gains could I expect to see from this cam on my LT1?

Question What kind of gains could I expect to see from this cam on my LT1?

Duration @ .050 Lift
230/234 .528/.539

I'm not to good with cam specs but this cam's operating range is around 2800-6200, I'm guessing it is something like the CC306 just with more low end power right?

low end? the rpm band on that thing isnt too low. its more for mid and top end. for a cam with good low end go for something like idle-4000. thats good for low end. i'm getting the edelbrock performer plus cam that has a powerband of idle-5000 rpm. thats a good blend of low and top end

as for the gain, adding a cam to any engine will give you gains. an aftermarket cam, depending on how much bigger than stock, will completely change the characteristics of your engine. also its not just about lift. duration plays a big part, and the LSA also plays a part when it comes to sound. if you want that nice loping muscle car sound then a smaller LSA, such as 108*, will be for you.

LSA yes has to do with sound but its much more important than that. :banghead:
