Holy F'in smokes dealing with there store customer service is WORSE THAN BELL AND ROGERS IF U CAN BELEIVE THAT!
So i get this HP digicam in August w/ext 3yr warranty...Came with a lithium ion batt that was working awesome than the batt wouldnt hold a charge and i was only able to take about 10 pics at a time.
take it in end of f'n January and this ***** STILL GOING ON!
so when i took it in over a month ago those fhaggy geek jerks are like "were going to have to send ur cam back to the HP factory for repairs"
3 weeks later, I get a call the cam is ready...Goto pick it up they give me a brand new cam but theres no f'in Ion Batt in the cam! nuthin!
The Geek douchebag then says "the factory never ships back acessories" i was like "wtf then wheres my Batt!?" hes like "we'll have the factory send back your old camera in 24hrs and call you when it comes in with your batt" those f/n dicks never called...I called them and they said that no ORDER was ever placed and it would take a "couple" of days for the new one to come in.
call em up on the phone on hold for 15min and got transferred 3 times then got hung up on twice. A WEEK F'N LATER still no callback goto the goddamn dicktrees and this time they find my Cam...this time instead of shipping back a nice new Ion Batt, HP sends them a 4pack of no-name brand AA BATTERIES! Is this some kind of sick f'n joke!?! they said they must of made a mistake. No ****!
So now im talkin to the store manager now wanting a goddamn cash refund for all this bullsh!t and she asks me to check out another cam on there shelves. I said go F yourself and your goddamn company, pleaded for a my cash but they wouldnt do it.
I goto the shelves theres f'n nothing close to what i paid for equal value..ALL there cams were over $200 more than what i paid with the same features and i was NOT willing to pay extra.
They couldnt just give me a new HP cam cause they dont sell HP cams anymore.
so now the store manager calls HP orders a new Batt and its going to take ANOTHER WEEK for the stupid **** to come in.
RANT OFF!
Word of advice, Best buy is f'n garbage...Futureshop(even tho owned by same company, diff managment though) would replace or give me money or store credit immediately like they did when i bought a PC from there and no questions asked. BB managment f'n sucks compared to other chain stores..they just dont care about f'n customer satisfaction!

There's a reason why the HP was $200 less than any other camera with the same MP rating and features :P
Though I haven't had any experience with BB CS yet... well I just hope my 51" Toshiba HDTV doesn't break down

I got a 5yr extended warranty on the TV.... I wouldn't mind having to use it at 4 and a half years though
Honestly run away from HP's, or anything cheap. You would end up having to return that replacement HP LOL!!!
You're better off buying a "lesser" MP camera by a better company. Just drop like $300 on a Nikon or Canon.... pretty much guaranteed to get a good camera.

thats why I bought a canon, but BB is BS my parents bought a home phone there around a year ago and after 1 week of using it the it just died and we tried to return but they said that we would have to take it to the factory to get it replaced (the factory was in the US) we called the factory and told them what happenend and they said we could still bring it back to BB to get a refund and after a week of BS with BB we just gave up, but we did manage to get a new phone from the company (which took about 1.5 weeks),so thats why I donèt even bother with BB anymore.

I never liked Best Buy employees..specifically the computer department, always found them shady and unknowledgeable.
I stopped shopping there ages ago.
HP does make camera's still, and ALOT better than they once did.

Best Buy employees are F'N BRUTAL!!!
ive never seen such a group of unknowledged bunch of useless teenagers standing around on there workshifts doing nothing but talking to each other.
When the manager showed me the Cam's they had in stock that i could of traded mine in for, she actually grabbed the kids arm in the Camera dept (he was talking to 2 other employees in the TV dept) and dragged him over to me and she told him to help with whatever questions i asked...behold i knew more than the kid did and all ive done was do about 15min worth of research on the net about what diff feats digi cams had to offer.
craaaaptacular store! Futureshop may get comission...but damn at least they help you somewhat...altho some of them also have no idea what there talking about.
