Well, I'm encountering some problems with the computer now, that's the only thing that needs to be finished up. As much as I said I didn't really "need" the DVDrom, I remembered I was going to use this USB hub to power my GPS mouse, and I can't have wireless and the hub in at the same time or else it freezes up -- I'm guessing some sort of conflict with them having the same settings or what not -- well now my biggest problem is that the touch screen is jumpy if I touch the screen my mouse jumps all over the place EXCEPT where I'm touching it. Once I get things straightened out, it's just a matter of putting more recent mp3s on there and training the microphone for my speech to text so I can tell the computer to play a song or what not. Then it should be good to go into the car. I'M GETTING REALLY EXCITED THO! lol

Well, when I went outside to take pictures of my bezel painted and mounted in place, I was greeted with:

So after wiping it off..

in person it's actually pretty smooth, I don't know why it came out like that with the flash. It's perfectly smooth except where the glovebox covers it and where the knee bolster panel covers it

Darn, I really thought you were talking about me there...

Why would I want the old console back? I still have the functionality of the 2nd cup holder AND i still get to use that little cubby hole.. those were the two main things I didn't want to lose because the cubby hole fits my work badge perfectly.

****, I was hoping no one would notice that

I know, I'm already thinking about how to do the second version of the bezel... The next one I do will flow into the console and *hopefully* still give me functionality of the cubby hole, and it will also go from where it is down straight down to the carpet so it hides all the wires and all that stuff back there. Just didn't think about all that extra stuff when I was doing this.. although really I didn't think it through at all because I wrapped the t-shirt OVER the mounting tabs, then fiberglassed, and all that.. only the last stage did I realize "...oh ****, I need to uncover those tabs." lol
